Having recently settled in the beautiful coastal town of Filey, I decided that my photography direction would change course a little. Having started out as a wildlife/natural world photographer, then as a wedding photographer, it was time to start enjoying my photography once again.

In my early life I always had an interest in country sports and working dogs. But over the years my working career took over and although I continued to have dogs, the urge for country sports faded away. The love of dogs did not.

My wife and I have a beautiful (but mischievous) cocker spaniel called Martha, we live close to the beach and not far from the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds and North Yorkshire Moors, so the decision on what genre to photograph was easy to make.

Dog photography it was !!!
